Hello everyone! I'm Linda, a senior technical leader for Cisco wireless technology and a working mom of two young children(6 & 3).
Reflecting on my career journey at Cisco, I am reminded of the countless roles and challenges that have molded me into the leader I am today. Throughout these years, I've had the privilege of growing in various technical roles, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities.
My career journey started more than twelve years ago in the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) team for wireless technology in Beijing, China. After obtaining my master's degree from Sichuan university, I joined Cisco TAC. It was during this time that my passion for technology and problem-solving laid the groundwork for my future endeavors at Cisco. With a strong desire to constantly grow and challenge myself, I transitioned to the Datacenter Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) team and eventually took on a role in Australia with the Sydney ACI TAC team. This experience provided me with the opportunity to expand my expertise and leadership skills.
Now, as a senior TAC Technical Leader for Wireless technology, I look back on my journey with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. With a career filled with prestigious certifications and highlights, such as Cisco's CCIE Security and Routing & Switching, and recognition as a Cisco Sales Champion for the APJC region, I utilize my technical expertise to enhance customer satisfaction and support Cisco's sales efforts.
One of my proudest achievements was being the single point of contact from Cisco TAC for the Women's World Cup in 2023. In this role, I managed special event support, resource planning, risk management, and implemented automation for seamless operations. Leading a global team of tech leads, I thrived under pressure and addressed diversity issues head-on. This experience solidified my belief that success in technology requires not only technical expertise but also effective communication and collaboration. I believe the industry is a dynamic and ever-evolving field that offers endless opportunities for innovation and impact. I am passionate about the role technology plays in connecting people and transforming businesses, and I am dedicated to leveraging my skills to drive positive change.
Balancing my career with my personal life has been an enriching experience. As a mother of two young boys, I find joy and inspiration in both my family and my work. This balance has been made possible thanks to the tremendous support from my family, leaders, and colleagues at Cisco, for whom I am deeply grateful. My story is one of continuous learning, embracing change, and pursuing growth in both my personal and professional life.
My role at Cisco is not just about solving complex technical challenges and driving innovations; it's about empowering the next generation of engineers and leaders through mentoring and fostering a supportive culture of continuous learning. As we move forward, I encourage everyone to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, remain curious, and never underestimate the power of resilience. Be fearless in pursuing your passions and view setbacks as stepping stones to even greater achievements. I am also reminded of the importance of inclusivity and action in the tech industry, especially in light of International Women's Day 2025 (#AccelerateActions) and Girls in ICT Day (Bridging ALL Divides for an Inclusive Digital Transformation). I encourage everyone to join me in accelerating action and bridging divides to create a more inclusive digital world. Together, we can inspire more women and girls to pursue careers in ICT, ensuring that technology truly serves all of humanity.

我的职业生涯始于十二年前在中国北京的思科无线技术支持中心（TAC）团队。在获得硕士学位后，我加入了思科技术支持中心 (TAC)。正是在这个阶段，我对技术和解决问题的热情为我在思科的未来事业奠定了基础。为了不断成长并挑战自己，我转到了数据中心应用中心基础设施（ACI）团队，最终在澳大利亚的悉尼ACI TAC团队担任职务。这段经历让我有机会扩大自己的专业知识和领导技能。
如今，作为思科TAC无线技术的高级技术领导者，我怀着成就感和感激之情回顾我的旅程。我的职业生涯中充满了诸如思科CCIE安全和路由交换等著名行业认证，并且被评为亚太及日本地区的思科销售冠军，我利用我的技术能力来提升客户满意度并支持思科的销售工作。
我最自豪的成就之一是在2023年成为FIFA女足世界杯期间思科TAC的主要负责人。在这个角色中，我管理了特殊活动支持、资源规划、风险管理，并实施了自动化以实现无缝运营。领导一个全球技术负责人团队，我在压力下蓬勃发展，并直接面对多样性问题。这段经历让我坚信，成功需要不仅是技术专长，还需要有效的沟通和协作。我相信这个行业是一个动态且不断发展的领域，提供无尽的创新和影响机会。我对技术在连接人与变革企业中的角色充满热情，并致力于利用我的技能推动积极变化。
在职业生涯和个人生活之间的平衡是一种丰富的体验。作为两个男孩的母亲，我在家庭和工作中找到了快乐和灵感。感谢家人、领导和思科的同事给予我的巨大支持，这种平衡成为可能，我深表感激。我的故事是一个不断学习、拥抱变化和在个人与职业生活中追求成长的故事。
我在思科的角色不仅仅是解决复杂的技术挑战和推动创新；更是通过指导和培养持续学习的支持性文化来赋予下一代工程师和领导者力量。随着我们不断前进，我鼓励每个人把挑战当作成长的机会，保持好奇心，永远不要低估坚韧的力量。勇敢地追求你的激情，把挫折视为通往更大成就的垫脚石。我也意识到在技术行业中包容性和行动的重要性，特别是在2025年国际妇女节（#AccelerateActions）和国际通信技术女孩日的背景下。我鼓励每个人加入我，加速行动，消除差距，创造一个更具包容性的数字世界。我们可以一起激励更多女性和女孩从事ICT职业，确保技术真正为全人类服务。
