ACI Multisite - ISN MAC Flapping

Hello,

I have setup ACI Multisite and connected them with ISN (Site1:Spine to L3 switch to Site2:Spine).

Configured Multisite with Nexus Dashboard by adding two sites and ospf as underlay for ISN network.

Post configuration we found the we are learning same MAC address for SITE 1 & SITE 2 interfaces connected to L3 switch due to which the OSPF is flapping.

The Tenenat infra and BD default using same Custom MAC address on both site.

By anyway can we change the Custom MAC address for one site? Tried using Virtual MAC address but its not taking it.

Please suggest.

Thank you

Bhavik

Hello,

Are you using the same Virtual  MAC address or different Virtual MAC address on both sites? Could you please provide us the screenshots of what you have configured?

"The BD virtual MAC address and the subnet virutal IP address must be the same for all ACI fabrics for that bridge domain. Multiple bridge domains can be configured to communicate across connected ACI fabrics. The virtual MAC address and the virtual IP address can be shared across bridge domains"

Note:
Virtual MAC along with virtual IP subnet should used only for migration of individual sites to MSO-orchestrated multi-site fabric. Once the migration is completed, these flags can be disabled.
