Any easy way to change the APIC controller hostname?

SIMMN

I have 3-APIC controllers with names "DCPAPIC01", "DCPAPIC02" and "DCPAPIC03". I am asked to change the names to "PDCAPIC01", "PDCAPIC01" and "PDCAPIC01". No change to other elements/config of the fabric.

The only way I can think of doing so is to decommission the APIC and factory reset it before commission back to cluster...Then repeat the same process for the other two...

Before I start doing this, wonder if there would be any other easier/less time consuming ways (GUI or CLI or API)?

You can change APIC hostname by going to System > Controllers > apic-X ->General > Hostname field.
The APIC will reboot to complete name change.

For spine and leaf, go to fabric membership page to change it. No impact.
