Hello -
When we first started setting up the ACI apic last year, it was a recommended best practice (at least from our var) to use the default 10.0.0.0/8 value in the initial apic configuration. Is that still correct? or does Cisco recommend that we start assigning a NON overlapping ip space (non overlapping with the client network/underlay)? also - is there a recommended subnet size?
thank you

Hello
The recommended subnet size is a /16. I don't think it was ever a /8 but i might be mistaken. It has always been recommended to use a non-overlapping ip space for the Infra.
Hope that helps! Thanks for using support forums

Thanks - i could be mistaken on the default subnet size, its been awhile since we have set up a new fabric. We were unaware of the non-overlapping recommendation, but now we know.
Thank you for your help.
