This is for APIC v5.2(5c)

While configuring Remote Leaf, as a first step; we need to configure Remote ID and Remote TEP Pool and while configuring the same we get below error:

Error: 400 - Configure Routable Subnet for all pods before configuring Remote TEP Pool

Please help to find, where to configure "Routable Subnet"?

Hi @AshSe ,

In Fabric > Inventory > Pod Fabric Setup Policy, double click the Pod. The field is now called "External TEP".

Hi @Remi-Astruc , I configured External TEP IP as 172.17.0.0/24 and same as Remote Pool. Now getting below Error:

While attempting to configure unicast address  (172.17.0.1) in External TEP; it is not accepting. Please advice.

You must not configure External TEP Pool of a Pod to be the same as its Remote Pool. These need to be unique.

@Remi-Astruc even after configuring a different External TEP pool (192.168.0.0/24) than Remote Pool (11.0.0.0/24) I am getting the same error:

Hi @AshSe ,

So as stated in the error message, you have to configure Routable Ucast TEP before doing that.

Go in Tenants > infra > Policies > Protocol > Fabric Ext Connection Policies > Pod Connection Profile, Pod X then enter a routable IP in the Unicast TEP field of the Pods.

After that, configure your Remote Leaf Pool.
