I would just like to confirm whether or not SNMP monitoring can be done on a standby Apic or is there a way to monitor it when it is in standby? I am currently adding devices for SNMP monitoring and the credentials are failing. Not sure if its an issue with the credentials, or if the apic will even allow them. The device is up, as I can ping it, but I can not sign manually in with my own credentials. I recall reading somewhere that it is not even set to take admin credentials at the moment. So just want to clear up if the SNMP monitoring is failing because of that, or if its even possible.
I saw the same question asked before, but it was answered by a fellow community member, would like to know for certain as the goal is to have SNMP monitoring/config backup for all devices that its possible on in our environment.
