Static Path Binding

Hi

Physical:

Leaf1 and Leaf2 - use vPC1 to Fabric Interconnect-1

Leaf1 and Leaf2 - use vPC2 to Fabric Interconnect-2

Tenant:

BD1 , Subnet 1 , EPG1

Fabric:

1>VLAN Pool- 701 to 710

2> Physical Domain- Phy

interface policies- CDP-enable , LLDP-enable , LACP-Active

3>AAEP- AEPP

4>Interface policy group-

Policygroup-vpc1

Policygroup-vpc2

5>interface profile/selector-

interface profile1-vPC interface for Policygroup-vpc1

interface profile2-vPC interfaces forPolicygroup-vpc2

6>Switch profile-

switchprofile-vpc1 ( leaf 1/leaf 2) withinterface profile1

switchprofile-vpc2 ( leaf 1/leaf 2) withinterface profile2

defined the vPC domain

At this state the vPC is UP.

Now i do the static path binding on EPG1

a> associated the phy ( Physical domain ) to EPG1--> Everything is good

b> Static Ports path via vPC1 , vlan 701, trunk--> Everything is good

c> however when i assign 2nd Static Ports path via vPC2 , vlan 701, trunk--> There are Faults

Question

Is it possible to add 2nd Static port via 2nd vPC? any mistake in above procedure ?

Your inputs are highly appreciated.

Regards

Sam

Hi Sam,

Can you share the fault or faults you are getting?

Also, what domains are associated with your AEP and is that the AEP associated with your Interface Policy Groups?

Thanks,

Claudia

Claudia i fixed this thank you .

i just tested i used 1 AEP , 1 Phy Domain , 1 VLAN Pool , 1 EPG , 1 BD , 1 Subnet. and in that EPG 2 Static Paths one from vPC1 and second from vPC2 .in vPC1 i used GlobalScope and vPC2 i used perportvlan Scope under L2 interface policies. This Looks all green, no Faults.
