Total Egress Bytes Rate vs Total Egress Bytes - APIC stats

Hi Team ,

How to read the stats in APIC controller for EP connected interface in APIC controller .

What is the difference between Total Egress Bytes Rate vs Total Egress Bytes ?

Can someone tell me how do you read the interface bandwidth utilization value from the below screenshot . ACI interface Bandwidth.JPG

"Total Egress Bytes Rate vs Total Egress Bytes"

This is a current throughput rate (over a 5min time period average by default) vs. a cumulative counter.  It's the same as you'd see on any switch with a "show int x/y" output.  It's meant to give you an idea of the throughput rate (egress & ingress) while giving the running total byte count.   These stats can be configured to throw alerts if you pass certain thresholds/values (set by a stats threshold policy).  Most customers will use these stats and the histogram to look at any spikes or dips in traffic that might potentially point to an issue or anomaly.

@Robert Burns So If I have to confirm the current bandwidth usage , I have to look for Total Egress/Ingress Bytes rate right ?
