Vlan addition on interfaces or VPC

Hello Folks,

I was just wondering vlan assignment on Cisco ACI fabric on ethernet port or VPC

Can you please help with specific commands and GUI navigation through which I can delete or add vlans on ethernet port or VPC.

Apart from this how can I assign epg on interface?

Do we have option to assign static IP interface in aci fabric.

Can you please help me with simple scenario that If I want to chnage the encap/data vlan of any interface.

Ex. I've a server which is connected to interface ethernet 103/1/20 and associated with vlan 700 and I want to change the vlan 705 instead of 700 on single interface.

Post changing the vlan, ip address could be changed?

There are two independent actions here:

1. VLAN allocation in a domain/AAEP
2. EPG domain allocation. If you have a phy domain, this step requires additional interface+vlan binding

Both steps are quite extensive in terms of explanations, especially the first step. Just to give you a snip pic, this is how it looks like from the ACI perspective and NXOS CLI comparison:

This will just give you a brief explanation on each object (vlan pool, domain, AEP, If Policy Groups, If Profiles, Sw Profiles).

I will make the assumption that this server is a bare metal server or a non-VMM integrated server. For this you need to go to the EPG in question (where that server belongs to), under the static ports, double click on the desired port, make the change of Port Encap, click Submit and voila.

Just ensure the corresponding VLAN pool includes VLAN 705, otherwise it will not work, and ACI will raise a fault.
