Hello all,
I'm curious what would happen if you lost all the APIC's in your cluster, and then you had a Leaf that rebooted for some reason (perhaps it temporarily lost power or whatever).
Would that Leaf retain its configuration on a disk or flash memory somewhere in its hardware, or do Leafs have to ask the APIC's for their configuration each time they boot up?
If you lost all the APIC's I would imagine traffic in the fabric would be uninterrupted, but I'm curious if a Leaf (or even a Spine for that matter) rebooted AFTER you had lost all APICs in the cluster. Would that mean you would lose the config on that Leaf/Spine as well?

The configuration is preserved.
setup-clean-config.sh followed by a reload are the commands which clears the configuration from a leaf/spine switch.
Cheers,
Sergiu
