Hi, I have an issue developing a TCL script with the ACE, because sockets close TCP connections with a reset instead of a FIN. I see that TCL Scripts with the CSM have the socket -graceful command, which closes TCP connections with a FIN instead of a reset. Is there any option to do that in ACE to avoid the TIME_WAIT state in rserver??
Thanks

This option does not exist on the ACE.
There is a feature request introduced by mself to have this implemented.
But it didn't receive much attention.

OK, that are bad news, do you know if there´s an estimated time for this implementation? Thanks

Currently there is little chance it gets implemented.
You could open a service request with the TAC and ask them to link your case to the ddts.
There more customers express their desire to have this implemented the faster this ddts will get attention.
