ACE authentication through windows NPS server

Hi,

I have 4700 series ACE appliance with A5 (2.2). I have below configuration in ACE for authentication through windows NPS

radius-server host 10.36.32.89 key 7 "xxxxxxxxxxx" auth-port 1645 acct-port 1646 authentication accounting

aaa group server radius RADIUS

  server 10.36.32.89

  deadtime 15

aaa authentication login default group RADIUS local

aaa accounting default group RADIUS local

I have opened udp ports 1645 and 1646 from ACE to NPS server.

Is any setting needed on windows NPS server for ACE authentication?

Hi Nishchay,

The configuration you have pasted regarding "Radius" seems to be fine but not sure about NPS. But there have been similar discussions before and i am pasting links for your reference. Visit link number 2. One gentleman has even recorded the settings to be done on NPS and posted it. Hope it helps.

Hi Kanwaljeet,

Thanks for your reply. The links provided by you were really useful and resolved my issue.

I followed the instructions in third link and created vendor specific attribute in NPS server which resolved the issue.
