ACE module - SNMP stopped working

Hi,

I have two ACE modules in a HA pair and one of them has stopped responding to SNMP queries for all contexts. The other one is ok. Code is A2.1.4.

Does anyone know how to restart snmp, ie process wise or removing config and re-apply.

Gary,

increase your snmp timeout on the machine that you use for the query.

If the ACE module is busy it will delay the response.

Set a timeout of 15 seconds and check if you get a response like this.

Thanks for the reply Giles, we eventually lost all connectvity to the ACE, even local console and 6500 session. Had to open a TAC case, but no cause as yet.
