Hi,
Is it possible to schedule the ACE module to take a particular rserver out of service at a specific time?
Thanks

Hi Cameron,
No - there is no scheduling facility within the ACE. One approach is to write an Expect script or similar to run the configuation commands and schedule it on an external server.
You might also be able to do something with a health-check probe if you had control of a resource on the rserver.

Hi Cathy
Yes - I think I'll use 2 probes on the one serverfarm (probe #1 for normal application checking and probe #2 checking for the existence of a file via http get).
This way, the server admins can take any rserver they want out of the farm by manipulating the probe's target file (eg. temporarily renaming it)...then when they've finished their maintenance they can can restore the file to it's original state and the ACE should be sweet.
Thanks
