Hello,
Our customer bought two ASR 1001-X to run OTV between two Datacenters. The installed license is IPBASE and he bought ASR1K-DCI application part number. The issue is that we couldn't activate OTV feature on ASR 1001-X.
Is there any procedure to enable OTV feature ?
Is it mandatory to have adventerprise or advipservices to use this feature ?
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Aaziz

Hi Aaziz,
As per my understanding OTV on ASR 1001-X is only supported with AIS ( Advanced IP Services license ) or AES ( Advanced Enterprise Services license ). It is not supported with IP Base license.

Hi Aaziz,
Check this post
https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11372091/asr-support-otv-licensing-requirements
You can verify from feature navigator.

I would recommend checking page 3 of the following link
http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/products/collateral/switches/nexus-7000-series-switches/guide_c07-728315.pdf
If there is still any confusion as it appears from diff pieces of documentation then you can confirm with Cisco TAC.
