Good Day,
We are experiencing issues with ANM not functioning as expected when syncing with ACE. We add contexts to ACE and these are syncing up to ANM. When we try to force a sync, the following error is recieved (also attched).
---------------------------
Message from webpage
---------------------------
Error in syncup VC: No row with the given identifier exists: [com.cisco.nm.dcm.domain.Virtualcontext#374].
---------------------------
The "Virtualcontext#" listed above varies depending on the context we try to sync, but can't seem to corolate these numbers to anything on the ACE modules?
We have confirmed user ID used has Admin privalages and SNMP comunities are same on Modules and ANM. The issue occure on variuos contexts (multiple contexts, some in sync, some out of sync). The main point of concern is the Admin context which will nor sync, which then does not pull any new contexts created into ANM.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks you.
Paul.

Hi Paul,
We have seen similar issues in the past, most of the time caused by software bugs, so, it would probably be a good idea to open a TAC case to investigate this further.
Before you do, I would recommend trying to remove the affected ACE from ANM and try importing it again to see if it clears out the issue.
Regards
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the response. After much frustration, I did remove and re-import the ACE moduels (numerous) and this resolved the issue. However, I and concerned that the issue will re-occur.
We have ANM 3.2 and ACE version 2.(1.5a). We are planning upgrade to ANM 4.2 and ACE 4.1. Hope fully this will resolve any further issues (and hopefully not introduce any)
Thanks again for the response.
Paul.
