Backup 2 CSM with 1 CSM

We have 2 CSM in one Cat6500 chassis, which 1 CSM for server load balancing and other for firewall load balancing.

And we have another CSM unit which idle right now.

Is it possible to have this idle unit to backup 2 running CSM?

this is not possible.

The backup mechanism of the CSM is a 1:1 solution.

Can I combine the server and firewall load balancing to use only 1 CSM so then I can use another 1 unit to backup?

yes, you should normally be able to combine the firewall and server loadbalancing functions on a single CSM.
