Hi.

Need your help. My customer wants to implement his CE 565 just like a proxy. He will have a private ip on one interface and a public ip on the other interface. Is it possible to have the clients specifying the ip of the CE in their browsers proxy window. If possible, how could i put some restrictions on specific users or ip's.

The CE 565 can be setup as a non-transparent proxy for your users. Please refer to the following link that will explain how this works:

Typically, you will use the CE's address as the proxy server's address on your browser's proxy window. You will need to specify a port in order to channel the proxy requests from the users to the CE. 8080 is used by default.

Additionally, you can integrate your proxy solution with a authentication and/or URL filtering, where you can have control of users and content going through your CE.
