hi all, I am facing several issues after a few works with Catalyst 4500

plz, help with these issues..

1) SUP redundancy problem

  - I configured the redundancy mode as SSO when the device was adopted but now it changed into RPR mode by itself

so I wonder what kind of issue can be the caused of this happen?

2) Inconsistency of uptime of Chassis and Sup

 - After I rebooted the device I noticed that the uptime of Sup is 7 hours earlier than Chassis even I turned off and on the whole switch

so I wonder what kind of issue can be the caused of this happen?

3) The command of reboot

- I heard that the only way to reboot the Chassis is to physically turn the power off and on..

I still want to know if there is any command to reboot the Chassis remotely (not just single module, the whole device)

PS. If the Algorithm has changed by adopting the new version SUP 8 I wish to have the reference or doc plz.

thank you

q1)  looks to be in sso mode to me, stateful switchover , usually it would say rpr like below , whats the running config show ? sh run |  i sso

Switch#show redundancy
Redundant System Information :
------------------------------
Available system uptime = 4 years, 4 weeks, 2 days, 10 hours, 3 minutes
Switchovers system experienced = 0
Standby failures = 0
Last switchover reason = none

Hardware Mode = Duplex
Configured Redundancy Mode = rpr
Operating Redundancy Mode = rpr
Maintenance Mode = Disabled
Communications = Up

2) dont see how thats possible , the sups are up before the chassis , i have multiple 65s , 45s here and all are either equal times from full reboot or the chasis is up longer if we have manually forced failover of Sups , system time should be equal to or more than SUP time as chassis comes up first

3) issue reload command , that will restart the whole switch remotely and for all other switches as well , you cant shut them down remotely but you can reboot them
