Anyone have experience with caching in a CITRIX environment? Any link to information on this subject will be appreciated - case-scenarios, configurations, topologies, gotcha's etc.
Thanks
Johnny

I have not come across such a scenario. I dont think we can do caching in a Citrix environment. You could try using the caching solutions provided by cisco. Please refer to the following URL for more details.

Unfortunately, there seems to be no information on Citrix related to Content Caching with Cisco devices on the Cisco Web Site. I have heard that due to
screen-scraping techniques used by Citrix, that it is
not cacheable. However, I do not about this for sure. Any other hints on Citrix and Cisco Caching?
Thanks

Hi Johnny,
Citrix won't be cachable as the content of the page is always more or less dynamic. Citrix/NFUSE should use HTTPS and when using HTTPs you are lost with caching except the cache knows the certificate/the private key and so on.
The only thing one could imagine is a reverse-proxy or a normal proxy setup for security purposes but there won't be any caching.
Kind Regards,
Joerg
