core-wae failover and load balancing

Is there any other way to achieve failover and/or load balancing on 2 612 aplliances other than inline network adapter cards or pbr(failover)

WCCP is always an option that is commonly deployed. Configure the router/switch with WCCP and add the 621s into the WCCP group. The inline network adapter is not be needed for WCCP operation.
