CSS LDAP keepalive

We have LDAP keepalive set to watch our LDAP server, however the LDAP application will ocassionally crash, but the port 389 will still respond to the LDAP keepalive.

I need to configure this to verify the application is responding.....something like send a bindrequest and watch for the resultcode to verify the app is running.

I am new to the CSS, how would I configure this?

you will have to use a script keepalive.

You basically open the socket, send the request, receive the response

and decide to keep the service alive or not.
