CSS Management Ethernet Routing

Hi I have a CSS 11501 running 7.40 we are trying to get routing working through this port using

ip management route x.x.x.x <Mask> Next Hop

We can Ping the Next Hop but cannot get to the route end point. We have verified Layer 3 connectivity as we have other devices (Non CSS) in this VLAN.

Has anyone else seen this issue? Or will I have to use one of the Normal Ports.

what kind of route is it ?

/32 or /24 or did you try a 0.0.0.0/0 ?

Is it overlaping another route from the regular routing table ?

I have tried a /32 and a /24 both fail. The Network doesnt overlap with the production network.

what software version do you use ?

Did you verify with a sniffer trace if traffic was sent to the nexthop ?

Giles Looks like it is all solved we rebooted the box and all seems to work now.
