It`s possible to balance traffic between Raptors (Firewall) like we do with PIX`s, with an CSS11005 with a software (ap0401022s (4.01 Build 22)).
Now we are balance the traffic by a service, but when we disconnect one end, the service remains active. That`s the reason why we need to configure Route Firewall with Raptors.

with FWLB on the CSS, you just need to specify the ip address on both side of the firewall and the ip address of the remote CSS.
On the firewall itself, you just need to allow icmp traffic between the 2 CSS so they can exchange the necessary data.
So, this solution is independent of the type of firewall.
Gilles.
