CSCei55651 - "commit vip script fails when executing"
You should upgrade to 8.10(1.06) or later
Gilles.

I tried 8.10(1.06) and 8.10(2.05), but the same problem occured. Look at the output.

IPTV_SWL4-main# commit_VipRedundConfig "-a"
IPTV_SWL4-main#

>>>function REPLACE_TEXT call "tmp.cfg localIp backupIp 0 SUB_STRING_IP"
IPTV_SWL4-main#
Script Playback cancelled.
---end of output---
I cant't find any bug for this problem. In other words all bugs that I found (CSCeh70874, CSCei55651) aren't for this problem.
Maybe is prblem in function REPLACE_TEXT (number or type of arguments, etc).
Has anybody solution for this? If I will find no solution for this I will open it at TAC.
thx

Martin,
there thousands of people running 8.10 and using this script. It works fine.
There must be something specific in your config or environment.
You should capture a 'show tech' and open a service request with the TAC.
Gilles.

Gilles,
I thought... ok, I will open a service request with the TAC.

Hello,
problem is solved. I use for app session management IP instead of circuit IP. Now is for app session used circuit IP and all is running.
