CSS11500 - None http LB

This may seem a fundamentally basic question, but can the CSS11500 products load balance any kind of application on a group of servers? In otherwords none http/ssl based apps?

If yes, are there any particularly problematic areas, maybe certain protocols or unfeasible types of applications?

The CSS is able to balance any IP based traffic. You can run into problems with applications which leave connections open for a long time without being closed, but most of these issue can be worked around by tweaking the flow timeout parameters.

What kind of traffic are you looking at load balancing?
