I have asked this of TAC and they were less than helpful and responsive.
I have 2 physical sites A and B
I have 2 CSS11501S-K9 SLB's.
I'd like the 2 CSS's to share a VIP between them in an active-standby setup, in one-armed configuration, when they physically separate and in different subnets.
ie: 65.114.240.4/32 is a VIP configured on both CSS, advertised by OSPF as a /32 route the active CSS (I have this working). If CSS2 (standby) sees that CSS1 (active) is dead, he, CSS2, starts advertising the VIP to OSPF and taking connections to that IP.
I swear I had read (and seen) this sort of GLSB configuration on the CSS (routing based, not DNS-based), but I cannot seem to find the configuration example anymore. Can anyone help.
Regards,
Sam
