CSS11506 and gig connections

Recently installed 11506 with the additional 2 port GE module and configured to use the ports on the SCM for the default vlan (outside traffic). The other 2 ports are connected to the server vlan (vlan3). The CSS is able to communicate with the servers - services are up for http keepalives. However no traffic is hitting the VIPs from outside world, ping , http or otherwise. I can ping the CSS.

I have a similar setup using 11503 - however I'm just using the 2 ports on the SCM - one to the outside, one to the inside and it works fine.

Is there something wrong with the setup for the 11506 putting both uplinks on one module and the "downlinks" on the other module?

Should be fine to use the ports the way you are. Do you have the default route configured on the CSS ? I assume the VIPs are on vlan1 and the servers on vlan 3 ? Do you have a config snip to take a look at ?

Can the CSS ping the upstream device on the VIP vlan (outside traffic). ? Are the outside ports up ?

Thanks

Pete..

Ya never mind- I figured it out. There was a typo that wasn't obvious to me - yet another pair of eyes picked up on it.

Works fine as configured now.
