Hi,

any good proposition to suggest that CSS is a better choice than LD? When is LD more "useful" ?

The LDIR supports statefull failover.

We use it for tn3270 . e.g., if you have long

lasting connections, then statefull failover

is a good feature. It also comes in handy when

upgrading an LDIR-pair. The CSS, currently, does

not support statefull failover.

For short-running tcp connections, this is not

important.

Another point - the LDIR can be upgraded in

3 minutes. It takes somewhat longer with a CSS.

Besides this, I am all for the CSS. Good box in

many other areas.
