DOS attach counters

Hi,

I wanted to know if the Denial of Service attack counters really work? I am seeing them increment, and I want to know what the CSS11000 thinks is a SYN attack?

A syn attack on the counter should be any syn without a syn ack. I would check it out with Cisco to get an idea why your counters are climbing.
