double-quote in ACE-password

Hi All

We use 2 Cisco ACE-modules (ACE20-MOD-K9 / Version A2(3.2))

If I try to add a user whith a password that contains a double-quote there is an error (in fact there are two errors!)

host/context(config)# username test2 password test"test

                                                                                 ^

% invalid command detected at '^' marker.

                                                                                 ^

% unmatched quote detected at '^' marker.

Can anyone confirm, that a double-quote is not a valid character in a password?
Does anyone know whether Cisco is goint to fix that or not?
Thanks
Patrik

The double quote character is not allowed to be used in a password.

The password must be an unquoted text string with a maximum of 64 alphanumeric characters. The ACE supports the following special characters in a password:

, . / = + - ^ @ ! % ~ # $ * ( )
