We are installing a product called Oracle Collaboration Suite and I have run into a problem that has me stumped. The setup is a CSS11506 with SSL fronting the server farm which consists of two groups of clustered servers. We need to allow users on the Internet to access the services (ie webmail, etc.) via an encrypted link (HTTPS). The problem is that the two different server clusters will redirect the client to the other cluster at various times depending on what service is needed (ie signon, mail, etc.). Also all accesses to the clusters are load balanced through the CSS. Currently they all make the calls and redirects in HTTP. So is there anyway the CSS506 can proxy the connection so that no matter how the data traffic is redirected between the servers all of the traffic going back to the webclient is HTTPS without the developers having to rewrite all of the calls in the system to HTTPS?
