Hi There,
I'm looking for a device that will intercept and inspect HTTP packets then route that packet based on the content.
For exmaple, a incoming request to 2.2.2.2 with an HTTP header looking for mail.mydomain.com or web.mydomain.com.
I'm sure i'm looking in the right place with Cisco Content Networking.
If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Jamie,
you can either use a CSS1150X or a Blade in the Catalyst 6500 called CSM (WS-X6066-SLB-APC). Regarding the how: Just configure 2 services one serving the URL mail.mydomain.com and the other web.mydomain.com. Define to virtuels one checking for mail.mydomain.com and assign the service for this to it and the other one checking for web.mydomain.com.
Hope that helped
Kind regards
joerg
