Layer 2 Redirection on Cat6500

I want to configure L2 redirection on the Catalyst 6500 but can't find any documentation that clearly show me how to do that.

See the attachment for the relevant configurations done so far, is this correct or am I missing something ?

Should any configurations be done on the Cat6500 or will the layer 2 redirection be negotiated between the WAE and the Cat6500 ?

Hi,

   For WCCP L2 redirect, configuration is done on WCCP client. As a matter of fact all redirect, return and assignment configuration is done on WCCP Client and not 65K. In case of WAAS below is sample configuration once WAAS is L2 adjacent to 65K. See below

wccp router-list 8 172.16.10.1

wccp tcp-promiscuous service-pair 61 62 router-list-num 8 l2-redirect mask-assign

wccp version 2

Once this configuration is define and L2 requirement is available for a Switch / router WCCP will come up as L2 redirect Mask assign. Thanks.
