Does anyone know if the management port is secure i.e. no traffic from a server subnet can route in eth1 and out the management port? If so is there any official cisco documentation that mentions this?
This depends on how you want to configure the port. You can restrict access to the port by using filters. But by default the management port is not configured to restrict access.
