Afdllah,
Are you using Cisco WAAS? If so, can you please provide some additional information on how you are performing interception?
Thanks,
Zach

Yes, I used Cisco WAAS version 4.0.9,
i configure WCCP on both switch catalyst on interface vlan :
ip wccp 61
ip wccp 62
int vlan888
ip wccp 61 redirect out
ip wccp 62 redirect in
on interface to WAE ;
ip wccp redirect exclude in

Zach,
Have you ever try WAAS to accelerate MIMIX traffic? Could you share your configuration?
Thanks,
Iwan

Iwan,
I have not personally used WAAS to accelerate MIMIX traffic.
Thanks,
Zach

Hi Zach,
But, do you have any documentation that mention WAAS able to accelerate MIMIX traffic or user guide about it? Because I cannot find it on cisco website and I am afraid that Cisco WAAS is unable to accelerate MIMIX.
Thanks,
Iwan

Ivan,
I checked internally, but was unable to find any references for WAAS optimizing MIMIX traffic. However, this doesn't mean that it isn't possible. Have you tried? Do you know the TCP ports being used?

Zach,
I have tried it with several scenario. First, using default WAAS policy. Second, create new policy using destination and source port from 1000-65000. Both scenario give no result. I have no idea the exact TCP port for MIMIX.

zach,
when i'm doing POC to optimize MIMIX,
i use command :
#show tfo connection summary
and output of this command :
Local-IP:Port Remote-IP:Port Conn Type
10.204.230.2:50007 10.204.229.2:56028 PT In Progress
10.204.229.2:56028 10.254.20.11:50007 PT In Progress
ip add 10.204.230.2 is MIMIX server in DC
ip add 10.204.229.2 is MIMIX server in DRC
i already used that port to optimize MIMIX,
but still not optimize

AFDILAH,
You can use the debug command:
debug tfo conn auto
to determine why the connection is going into pass-through.

Thank Zach, we will try it. But unfortunately, we cannot do it soon. We need time to setup the lab.
Thanks.
