Problem : CE-7300 with smartfilter

Hi.

I'm gonna setup CE-7300 to filter specific ip address. some users don't connect to the internet because of filter on CE-7300.

So I had config CE-7300 by using filter funciton with smartfilter.

But the thing is, I had too many filter ip address about sixty thounds.

I had tried to enroll ip address to filter on smartfilter's ip address range memu.

That time, i knew that i add one ip address, the ip address was saved some fime on local PC which was installed smartfilter console.

the text file is located on Window PC.

the path is below.

c:\program file\secure computing\config\users.txt

So I had a good idea to easy deployment.

If i add bulk ip address to the user.txt file,

I could be easy enrollment.

Thus, i tried to copy bulk ip address on the file.

But, the smartfilter didn't work properly.

sometime work properly, sometie didn't work properly.

Does any issues to modify the file?

I would still suggest that you put filters based on the range rather than indiviudal IPs.This would make things easier and will reduce the chance of errors. I think there is a option in the smart filter range menu to group addresses based on a range and filter accordingly.Please try this out.
