Hi,
customer wants to replace his LocalDirectors by 2 CSS11503. He does not want to redesign their network at all, so he would like to keep his flat topology. That means the server-side should be in the same VLAN as the client-side. The servers should still use the old default-gateway and not the CSSs as the default-gateway. In my opinion, this does not work with VIP/VRID redundancy config, because VRRP is used and the CSSs have to be the default-gateway for the servers. But what about box-to-box redundancy ? Could box-to-box redundancy be a valid solution for this problem ? If so, is there anything special in the config ?
Best regards,
Stephan

Stephan,
box-to-box redundancy will work in this scenario.
I don't see anything special to do in this case.
Gilles.
