Running Configuration Synchronization Script

Hi,

Model is CSS11150, 5.00 Build 105. 2 box, identical configuration/model. Will playing the synchronization script on the master to sync the config to the backup affect traffic passing through? Or should this be transparent? The master is in production environment, running 24x7.

ya you can use the synchronization script on the master to sync the config to the backup. This should not have a problem. I hope that I have understood your query correctly. If not please give more details on the problem.

Hi. thanks for the reply. Yah, that is what i'm planning to do, just run the sync script to synchronize the configuration from the master to the standby css.

Would this process interrupt current traffic being load balanced by the Master css?
