We have installed 2 Nexus 9372PX-E and planing to connect it to 2 Nexus 2348UPQ, so each Nexus 9K will connect to one Nexus 2K.
We can't connect Nexus 2K to 40 Gig port on Nexus 9K due to the limitation of 9K ALE ports (40Gig).
So on 2K we have 40Gig Uplink port but on 9K will have to use 10Gig ports
We thought of using the break-out cable but as the 2 devices are in different racks we can't use break-out cable for connectivity between 2 racks through cross-connect.
I read in Cisco document about Cisco CVR-QSFP-SFP10G which converts 40Gig port to a 10 Gig port i.e. QSFP to SFP.
Can someone please confirm if i can use the SFP module Cisco CVR-QSFP-SFP10G on 40 Gig Uplink port of Nexus 2K to connect to 10 Gig port of Nexus 9K ?
