hello community
i am currently planning a software upgrade on a pair of nexus 9000 switches in our datacenter. end devices are connected to the switches by vpc and i was wondering what the best upgrade procedure is in regards to downtime for the connected devices. my goal would be to upgrade the switches one after the other. will this have any impact on the consistency of the vpc's? it does not seem like the software release is a relevant parameter for vpc consistency. Still i am wondering if there is any impact, if for a little while the to switches will run on a different software release.
also if you have any other recommendations regarding this kind of upgrade, they are very welcome. Obviously this is the first time i am upgrading a nexus plattform in a live environment, so i am trying to be super careful here.
