I understand that SSL is for Secured data encryption, but i want to understand how this can accelerate the process, why i asked this b'cos u call this as SSL accleration????
In layman's terms it takes the very CPU intensive SSL application off of the server(s) thereby increasing the speed that the server(s) can server uo the other web applications and by it being a dedicated box it is capable of handling more caonnections faster than the average server.
