SSL Module/CSM Poor Throughput performance

6500 SSL Module w/CSM:

We run an application that tunnels rtmp protocol through ssl. When running traffic through the ssl module, throughput is quite slow. When we use another non-cisco ssl offload, throughput is high. Or if we handle the ssl directly on the server.

The traffic is not http, all we want is to offload the ssl portion.

Does the ssl-module perform some type of "http scrubbing?"

I dont think Cisco SSL supports http scrubbing. Third party modules may support this. Since when have you been facing the poor throughput problem. Is it been there from the beggining or have you been seeing this problem recently.
