Standby GSSM

The GSS software config guide for version 1.1 states the following,

At least one GSS—and no more than two

GSSs—must be configured as a primary GSSM and a standby GSSM

Does this mean that one and only one Standby GSSM can be configured per domain ? The documentation does state that only one Primary GSSM can exist however it's not completely clear whether multiple Standby GSSMs can be configured.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Glenn,

You are correct, only one primary and one secondary GSS master may exist at any time. Any other GSS can be promoted to master at any time, to cover maintenence or failure, and demoted again afterwards,
