Will this preform the same as the sticky-srcip? Will the hash remain the same? Since the destination port will be the same for all requests to a VIP and servers, the only difference will be the source IP address. What is the benefit of using the dstport? I know sticky-srcip is layer 3 and sticky-srcip-dstport is layer 4, but what does that matter.

this is in the case where the VIP is a layer 3 content rule - no TCP/UDP port.
The the clients can access a VIP on different ports.
Only when the source ip and destination port are the same will the sticky entry be used.

Okay, thanks. So the only time the dstport is used is in a layer 3 rule? If not, why use it? In a layer 4/5 rule, the destination port will always be the same.

correct - it makes no sense to use it for other type of rules.
