upgrade procedure

We are on 4.2.1 and I need to upgrade to support exchange 2010. All devices are in a group to control config other than time. Can I upgrade only the central waas and one other waas to test the upgrade? I have one waas remote at about 90 miles so I can get there in case of disaster. I want to wait on the others to make sure there are no problems. We are using all wccp redirection and virtual blades

Good morning,

Yes, it's technically possible to have the central manager and some WAE in different software versions. However, it's not recommended, so I would strongly suggest you to proceed with the upgrade of the rest of the network as soon as possible.
