I'm thinking about using the probefacility in CSM to probe almost all servers, including normally notloadbalanced servers, because then I have the possibility to send users to a sorryserver when something is wrong. Questin: How many probes can I run against how many servers. Which IPX-CPU i used for probes? Ihave standard probes and TCL-probes.

Regards

Mats

no IPX are used for probes. It's the PPC [main CPU] that handles them.

You can have quite a huge amount of probes.

But it depends on what type of probes and the frequency.

Do a 'sho mod csm X tech probe' and you should see the limitations at the top.

Gilles.

Thanks for information.

When I did the command I saw statistics. How do I know which probe belongs to which statistics?

you need to type the command

'sho mod csm X probe real' and you'll get the information that you need.

Thanks for your rating.
