Using the SRE Module External interface

Has anyone configured the SRE module external interface for packet capture traffic?

Scenario-- Router gig0/0--->Ethernet TAP--->WAN

The router has an SRE running WAAS software. The Ethernet TAP is a passive 3-port switch that will replicate the traffic to the SRE external interface in order to utilize the packet capture capability in the WAAS software for any general troubleshooting or traffic analysis on the WAN link.

Personally, I have not seen it for any of my customers before however I think it may work.

Now, you can also run captures on your SRE running WAAS.

Any idea how the external interface is referenced?  would it be the Eth1?
