We are having issues with a bug causing high cpu usage
We need a recomendation from cisco before proceeding with IOS upgrade...

Since the device is involved is a Cisco2960 switch, I recommend you to post this in the switching community.

on the output that you post I looked that do you have the problem on the cpu process on Virtual Exec
do you need verify the IOS that a bug, but the other way in the link I have the documentation that colud help you.
