Hello, i have a problem with SMB signed traffic after upgrading our lab WAAS devices to the latest 6.1.1 version of IOS.
When testing the SMB traffic (client: Win7, server: Win2008 R2) I don't see the "X" flag (SMB signed connection). SMB signature is enabled on both client and server (enabled, not required on client's side; enabled and required on the server's side) also WAAS devices have the SMB signing enabled.
Just for the clarification: traffic seems to be accelerated/optimized just fine.
this is what i usually get when trying SMB (accessing shared folders):
D:DRE,L:LZ,T:TCP Optimization RR:Total Reduction Ratio
A:AOIM,C:SMB,E:EPM,G:GENERIC,H:HTTP,I:ICA,M:MAPI,N:NFS,S:SSL,W:WAN SECURE,X: SMB
Signed Connection,s:SSL Interposer
ConnID Source IP:Port Dest IP:Port PeerID Accel RR
6032 192.168.21.10:2955 192.168.11.10:445 c0:8c:60:8b:c8:b6 TCDLW 39.2%
Cisco documentation says very little about the latest version 6.1.1 (in general) so I was wondering if someone else has yet experienced the same/similar issue.
We didn't have this problem before the upgrade though (we were running v 5.5.1 previously).

Andrej,
WAAS Developers are working in some similar behaviors which are caused by some new software defects. Is it possible to open a TAC case to track this down?

Same issues. any updates on this?
I am opening a TAC case on this as our client is using WAAS for SMB only and has been waiting for signing support for ages.
I wonder if it is fully optimizing SMB signed traffic and just not reporting the acceleration type correctly.
